US Senator Murphy: Iran Can Access Frozen Assets Without Concessions
U.S. Senator Chris Murphy stated on Monday that Iran can secure the release of its blocked assets and achieve a full sanctions waiver without making any nuclear concessions, suggesting that Tehran is leveraging perceived weaknesses in former President Trump’s diplomatic approach.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, prominent U.S. Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut asserted on Monday that there is currently no viable path to compel Iran to abandon its nuclear program. In a message posted on the social media platform X, the senator indicated that Iran is exploiting perceived diplomatic vulnerabilities associated with former President Donald Trump and his administration.
Murphy elaborated that Iran understands it can achieve a complete lifting of sanctions and the repatriation of all its frozen financial assets without offering any nuclear-related concessions. He made these remarks in response to repeated claims by Trump that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons.
