Hebrew Daily Reports Mass Exodus of Israelis from Occupied Territories Amidst Internal Crises

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, while the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime boasts of his regional “achievements,” the statistics on the emigration of Israelis from the occupied territories paint a different picture, highlighting a severe internal crisis coinciding with escalating conflicts on multiple fronts.
The Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv reported that figures released by the research center of the Israeli parliament indicate a 53% decrease in the number of Israelis returning to the occupied territories in recent years.
The report states that hundreds of thousands of Israelis have left the occupied territories and have not returned. This trend of emigration from the occupied territories began in 2023.
The report further elaborated that decisions regarding a return to the occupied territories are made difficult by severe economic and social challenges. Those who do return struggle to find employment with adequate salaries, and the process of regularizing the status of non-Israeli spouses in the occupied territories can take up to seven years.
