Foreign Affairs: US Role in Middle East Concluded, Regional Order Collapses

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Foreign Affairs magazine has reported that the role of the United States in the Middle East has ended. The regional structure that has been dominant since 1991 is considered one of the casualties of what the publication terms ‘American-Zionist aggression against Iran’.
The report states that the failure of the United States and the Zionist regime to overthrow the ruling system in Iran has proven the ineffectiveness of decades of sanctions and violence. The inability of the U.S. to support its allies in the Persian Gulf region has also dismantled the agreement that justified the presence of American military bases in the area.
Foreign Affairs further added that the actions of the Zionist regime have thwarted America’s mission to unite the Arab states of the Persian Gulf with Tel Aviv as a permanent security partnership.
