Russia and North Korea Champion New Multipolar World Order, Says Lavrov

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Tuesday that Moscow and Pyongyang are united in their support for a new world order founded on multipolarity, equality, and consideration for national interests. Lavrov conveyed these sentiments in a message to Choe Son Hui, the Foreign Minister of North Korea, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day.
“Today, Moscow and Pyongyang stand as a united front in advocating for the establishment of a just new world order built on the principles of multipolarity, genuine equality, and attention to national interests,” Lavrov stated.
The Russian Foreign Minister further emphasized Moscow’s commitment to continuing the path outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, aiming to comprehensively deepen bilateral cooperation. He added that this deepening of ties would serve the interests of both nations and contribute to regional and international security.
Relations between Russia and North Korea have seen significant expansion in recent years, with both Moscow and Pyongyang prioritizing closer political, economic, and security cooperation.
