Russia Captures Donetsk Settlements, Downs Record Number of Ukrainian Drones

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems had downed 1,671 Ukrainian drones in the last 24 hours, setting a new record for interceptions. This follows a previous record set on Sunday when 1,478 drones were reportedly intercepted.
The ministry further stated that Russian forces have taken control of the settlements of Krasnopodillya and Ourikovatka in the Donetsk region. These advances were accompanied by strikes targeting logistics centers, fuel and energy facilities, and transportation infrastructure utilized by Ukrainian forces. The statement indicated that these attacks also targeted drone assembly facilities, storage sites for drones and their components, as well as temporary deployment locations for Ukrainian forces and foreign personnel across 148 sites.
In a separate development, the ministry reported that Russian strike drones attacked fuel storage facilities in the port of Odesa on Monday evening. It was stated that the fuel stored in these facilities was intended for Ukrainian forces.
