Netanyahu’s Office Slams Erdogan as ‘Antisemitic Dictator’ Amid Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a strong statement regarding the regime’s airstrikes in Syria and Turkey’s reaction. The statement asserted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is attempting to expand his aggression against Israel via Syrian territory, a move Israel stated it will not tolerate.
The Netanyahu office’s statement declared that Erdogan’s “shameful” attempts to intimidate Israeli political and military leaders would prove futile. Israel affirmed its commitment to decisive action against Turkish efforts to destabilize the region and any threats to its security.
Further elaborating on its accusations, the statement alleged that Erdogan is an “antisemitic dictator” responsible for massacring Kurds, harboring Hamas elements, occupying half of Cyprus, and imprisoning an unprecedented number of journalists and opposition politicians. The statement reiterated that Erdogan is now seeking to extend his aggression against Israel into Syria, and Israel will not permit this.
This public condemnation from Netanyahu’s office comes amid reports from Anadolu Agency that Turkey has requested Interpol to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Turkish Minister of Justice Yilmaz Tunç stated that due to ongoing legal proceedings against Netanyahu on charges of genocide, Turkey has sought an Interpol “Red Notice” for him.
