Blast Rocks Western Kabul, Casualties Feared

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, was shaken by an explosion in its western part, as reported by Afghan media outlets. Kabul Times indicated that ambulances were actively engaged in transporting individuals injured in the blast.
Tolo News also reported that informed sources confirmed the explosion took place in the Dasht-e Barchi district of western Kabul. Unconfirmed reports suggest the incident involved the detonation of a hand grenade near the “Payvand” market, specifically at a bakery station.
Details regarding potential casualties from this explosion have not yet been released. Officials from Afghanistan’s interim government in Kabul have not yet commented on the event. This incident occurs as the region continues to grapple with the aftermath of last week’s attack on the “Shahed Hedayat” school.
