Kabul Times cited an eyewitness who stated that an explosion took place this afternoon in the Mahdiyeh Town area of Kabul. The explosion occurred near a non-profit school, though the type of blast and its potential casualties are not yet clear. Ambulances have been seen transporting injured individuals from the scene. Tolo News also reported that informed sources confirmed an explosion in the Dasht-e Barchi area of west Kabul. The blast reportedly happened near the ‘Shama Hedayat’ non-profit school as students were leaving.
