IAEA Chief, US Envoy Discuss Iran and Syria Ahead of Board Meeting

Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held discussions with U.S. Envoy Preston Welcher Griffith III regarding critical issues including Iran and Syria. The meeting took place prior to the upcoming IAEA Board of Governors session.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stated that the United States is a key partner in all areas of the agency’s work. These areas encompass nuclear safety and security, safeguards, non-proliferation, and the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology.
Grossi expressed his pleasure in hosting Ambassador Preston Welcher Griffith III, the U.S. Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, at the agency. During their meeting, they engaged in discussions on significant matters, including Iran and Syria, ahead of the forthcoming IAEA Board of Governors meeting.
