Trump Claims Iran Was Weeks Away From Nuclear Weapon

U.S. President Donald Trump asserted on Wednesday that Iran was merely two weeks away from obtaining a nuclear weapon, a claim he stated necessitated his administration’s actions to prevent it. Trump also alleged that Iran would have used such a weapon if it had acquired one, describing Iranian leadership as ‘crazy’.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that Iran was only two weeks away from achieving a nuclear weapon, stating that he eliminated that possibility. These assertions were published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.

The U.S. President, seemingly disregarding the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program, further alleged that if Iran had been allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon, it would have already used it, describing them as “crazy.”

Donald Trump then reiterated unsubstantiated claims aimed at reducing global energy prices, asserting U.S. control over the Strait of Hormuz. He further alleged that 28 boats and ships belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were destroyed the previous day, proclaiming, “I managed to prove my point!”
