Ansarullah Official Accuses Trump of Lying Amidst Escalating Rhetoric

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hazam al-Assad, a senior member of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of resorting to baseless rhetoric and falsehoods. In a post on X, al-Assad dismissed recent statements by the American president as indicative of his desperation and helplessness.
Responding to Donald Trump’s assertion that Ansarullah had contacted them and emphasized a lack of desire for confrontation with the United States, al-Assad stated: ‘He has resorted to his usual habit of rambling and lying.’
Al-Assad emphasized, ‘The narratives put forth by this criminal are entirely baseless.’ He further characterized Trump’s situation with the Arabic proverb: ‘Kiss the hand you cannot break, and pray that it breaks.’
Trump had recently commented on the situation in Yemen, claiming that Houthi forces (Ansarullah) had no inclination to engage in battle or confrontation against the United States.
