Lavrov: Russia Ready for Ukraine Talks, Extends Moscow Invitation to Zelensky

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Saturday that Russia is prepared for negotiations to resolve the Ukraine conflict, extending an invitation to President Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Moscow.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Saturday on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi that Russia is ready for negotiations aimed at resolving the Ukraine dispute. He added that the special military operation would not be halted during these talks. Lavrov further described the invitation to Volodymyr Zelensky to travel to Moscow for discussions as a sign of Russia’s good intentions.
Addressing Zelensky’s proposal for a meeting with President Putin in the United States, the Russian Foreign Minister commented that Zelensky is constantly traveling, while Russia has domestic matters to attend to.
