The targets of these attacks included the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Al Jawf, Marib, and Hajjah.
Saree emphasized that the ruthless aggressions by Saudi Arabia will not go unanswered. He also reported on the engagement of the country’s indigenous air defense systems with Saudi fighter jets over Saada province, leading to their retreat.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces added that the Yemeni armed forces confronted the aerial formation of the Saudi air force in the skies over Saada province in northern Yemen. He specified that this formation comprised Typhoon and F-15 fighter jets that took off from the Saudi air bases of Khamis Mushait and Taif.
Saree further detailed that the interception and counter-operation involved the deployment of several indigenous air defense missiles. He affirmed that, by divine grace, the Yemeni air defense missiles successfully compelled the invading fighter jets to flee and return to their bases.
