US Escalates Trade War With Canada, Imposes New Tariffs

The United States has further increased customs duties on a range of Canadian goods amid an ongoing trade dispute, targeting key sectors including dairy, paper, steel, and motorboats with a 50% tariff.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United States has again raised customs tariffs on a group of Canadian goods as part of its trade war against Ottawa. This action follows previous announcements by Canada of imposing heavy customs duties on imports from the U.S., which Canadian officials stated resulted from failed trade negotiations.

The new tariffs, set at 50%, will affect various products such as dairy items, paper, steel, and motorboats. The U.S. administration has also indicated its intention to ban the import of certain Canadian goods into the country starting September 29th.
