Saudi-Backed Mercenaries Suffer Heavy Losses in Yemen; Commanders Targeted
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, recent reports indicate that forces aligned with Saudi Arabia in Yemen, operating under the command of Tareq Saleh, have suffered substantial casualties. A spokesperson for these Saudi-backed militants admitted that at least 2,000 elements were killed or wounded during recent engagements on the western coast.
The spokesperson further elaborated that these Saudi-affiliated militants are losing hundreds of their personnel on a daily basis, with these figures specifically pertaining to major engagements. It was also stated that the aforementioned elements were extensively targeted by dozens of missiles and suicide drones during their retreat and withdrawal.
Additionally, it was emphasized that Tareq Saleh himself was directly targeted with 18 drones while present at his command headquarters. Other command centers also reportedly came under attack.
These developments follow a series of extensive operations launched by Yemen’s Ansarullah forces in recent days. Ansarullah has reportedly targeted Saudi mercenary elements, gaining control of strategic areas including Bab al-Mandab.
