In the message, Kim emphasized that both North Korea and Russia, under current historical developments, are striving to enhance trust, solidarity, and engage in joint defense to uphold justice and peace. He added that they are continuing to write new chapters in the grand history of their alliance. The North Korean leader expressed confidence that Russia will prevail in the ongoing conflict to defend its security interests. Previously, Putin had sent a message to the North Korean leader congratulating him on the anniversary of the country’s founding and emphasizing the strengthening of strategic cooperation between the two nations.
