European Military Estimates: Saudi Arabia Faces Challenges Against Yemeni Forces

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report by Bloomberg, citing data released by the Mehr News Agency, reveals that European military estimates suggest Saudi Arabia is encountering difficulties in confronting the progress of Yemeni armed forces and may be unable to recapture the city of Al Hudaydah.

Sources close to the matter emphasized that Saudi Arabia is hesitant to stand alone against Yemen and desires the involvement of other nations in the conflict. Even if Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman opts to escalate attacks against Sanaa, there is no guarantee of success.

Bloomberg further noted that the United States’ conflict with Iran has plunged Saudi Arabia into a crisis. The Kingdom’s oil production has reached its lowest levels in decades, threatening its economic diversification plans. Additionally, the engagement in Yemen has significantly harmed Saudi Arabia’s efforts to attract billions of dollars in foreign investment.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has previously approached several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, requesting their intervention in the war against Yemeni forces, but has been met with negative responses.
