Morocco and Israel Agree to Elevate Diplomatic Ties Amid Gaza Conflict

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Morocco and Israel have agreed to upgrade their diplomatic missions to embassies and exchange ambassadors. This decision was jointly announced by the United States, Morocco, and the Israeli regime, as reported by Al Jazeera network via Mehr News Agency.
Furthermore, Washington and Tel Aviv reiterated their recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the entire Western Sahara region. The announcement comes as Israeli military actions persist in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon.
Reports indicate ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza, leading to the destruction of residential areas and infrastructure in southern Lebanon. This new agreement between Morocco and the Israeli regime marks a further step in expanding relations between the two parties. These ties were re-established in 2020 under normalization agreements brokered by the United States and have since seen development in diplomatic, economic, and military fields.
