Lebanese President States Israeli Aggression Hinders Framework Agreement

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that continued Israeli attacks, which he described as violations of international humanitarian law, are preventing the full implementation of the framework agreement. He urged for a roadmap for an international conference to support the Lebanese army during an upcoming Paris meeting.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has emphasized that the ongoing assaults by the Israeli occupation regime constitute a significant obstacle to the complete execution of the framework agreement. These actions are viewed as violations of international humanitarian law.

President Aoun, who has reportedly insisted on continuing direct negotiations with the Israeli regime, disregarding Lebanon‘s interests and resistance warnings, highlighted that Lebanon is enduring Israeli attacks. He asserted that the successful completion of the framework agreement is not feasible amidst these continued Israeli assaults.

Furthermore, the Lebanese President called upon the upcoming Paris meeting, scheduled to discuss the country’s developments, to present a strategic plan for convening an international conference. This conference would aim to provide support for the Lebanese army and establish a defined timeline for its organization.
