Hezbollah Official Criticizes Framework Deal, Highlights Resistance Resilience

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hussein Al-Haj Hassan, a member of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc, stated that factions aiming to dismantle Hezbollah since 2024 have failed in their objectives. He stressed that anyone believing they can weaken the resistance and its supporters is mistaken.
Speaking at a memorial ceremony in the Husseiniya of Filawe town in Beqaa, Al-Haj Hassan noted that the resistance confronted the Israeli regime’s aggressions on multiple levels—military, security, political, and popular—during the battles of ‘Awwal al-Ba’s and ‘Asf al-Ma’kul. He highlighted that efforts to continue the fight through political channels persisted after the November 27, 2024, ceasefire agreement, following 15 months of bombardment and casualties. Attempts to isolate the resistance through Lebanese government decisions issued on August 5 and 7, 2025, and March 2, 2026, also continued.
The senior Hezbollah official emphasized that this period witnessed steadfastness and resilience across all levels. He affirmed that the resistance’s core group adopted a decisive stance against surrender, withdrawal, or compromise, despite all sacrifices and hardships, citing fiber-optic drones as a manifestation of newfound strength in recent months.
Al-Haj Hassan criticized certain political factions involved in working towards the framework agreement, accusing them of “begging the United States to turn the agreement into a political achievement.” He added that the agreement brought nothing but humiliation, disgrace, increased occupation, and further attacks.
Addressing the Israeli regime’s aggressions and the Israeli army’s obstruction of the Lebanese army’s advancement, the Hezbollah member stated that the Lebanese army is a national, honorable, brave, and dignified force.
Regarding US conspiracies in the war against Iran, Al-Haj Hassan claimed that the US administration has attempted to conceal the extent of damage inflicted on American bases in recent weeks and months. However, he pointed out that American media outlets report daily on the casualties and damages to US bases, which has impacted relations between US President Donald Trump and opposing media, leading to three major American media outlets being barred from the White House.
The senior member of Hezbollah Lebanon commented on the developments in Yemen, describing the control of Bab el-Mandeb as a “great achievement” and a “lever of power for the resistance front.”
