Yemen Vows Retaliation Against Any Aggression, Cites Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen will retaliate against any power that considers aggression, stated Mohammed Miftah, interim Prime Minister of the Sana’a government, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency in conjunction with Al Mayadeen.

Miftah emphasized that Sana’a will not stand idle in the face of any act of aggression, asserting that any entity that attacks Yemen will be met with a response from Yemenis.

These remarks come in reaction to statements and threats published in some media outlets by countries that may potentially intervene in an aggression against Yemen, given recent developments.

The statements are issued while Yemeni armed forces are engaged in clashes with Saudi-backed forces in several provinces, following preemptive strikes against field concentrations. Furthermore, Yemeni armed forces continue their attacks on vital facilities in Saudi territory in response to the aggression and blockade against the country.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has targeted several provinces, including Marib, Al Jawf, Taiz, and Al Hudaydah, with airstrikes.
