Oil Prices Surge Past $104 Amid Escalating Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, oil prices on global markets have surged past $104 per barrel due to persistent tensions in the Middle East. Brent crude futures saw an increase of 81 cents (0.78 percent) on Monday morning, reaching $104.68 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude also rose by 76 cents (0.76 percent), trading at $104.06 per barrel. This uptick in oil prices comes amid escalating clashes between Yemen’s armed forces and Saudi-aligned forces in Yemen. Sana’a has accused Saudi Arabia of fabricating accusations in an attempt to draw other nations into conflict with Yemen.
