New Explosions Rock Syrian Army Munitions Depot Near Aleppo

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, new explosions have rocked a Syrian army munitions depot near the Al-Eis region in the southern countryside of Aleppo, according to data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera. Earlier this morning, the official Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported intense explosions at a Syrian army ammunition depot in Al-Eis, south of Aleppo, which were followed by deafening sounds heard across the region. Faisal Muhammad Ali, commander of Aleppo’s Civil Defense operations, warned citizens against approaching the site of the incident, stating, “The continuation of the explosions has prevented rescue teams from reaching the scene.” Concurrently with the incident, security forces in Aleppo province were placed on high alert. The main Aleppo-Damascus road and all routes leading to the explosion site in the southern part of the province were blocked. The cause of these explosions remains undetermined.
