Israel Intensifies Airstrikes and Artillery Barrages on Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army intensified its aerial and artillery attacks on southern Lebanon on Monday. Israeli warplanes targeted the valley of the town of Zebqine with an airstrike. Simultaneously, heavy artillery shelling continued on the towns of Al-Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and their surrounding valleys.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli army demolished and destroyed several houses in the town of Al-Mansouri at dawn today. The town of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon also experienced a series of explosions on Sunday evening during operations by the occupation army in the area.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the forests of Ayta ash Shab in the Bint Jbeil region. The Israeli army also shelled Wadi al-Slouqi and Wadi al-Hujayr at dawn today. These incursions are part of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement by Tel Aviv, even as the Lebanese government, with US mediation, has concluded a framework agreement to end the war with the Israeli occupation government.

The Israeli occupation army continues its demolition and excavation operations within Lebanese villages that it claims are within the ‘Blue Line,’ while also targeting other villages with artillery shells, warplanes, and drone strikes.
