Yemen Calls for Action Amidst Netanyahu’s Al-Aqsa Mosque Provocations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni government in Sana’a issued a statement in response to the Israeli Prime Minister’s provocative actions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The ministry declared that Netanyahu’s incursions into the tunnels of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall represent a crime that demands a practical stance from Arab and Islamic countries.

The statement from the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that anyone expecting the Zionist enemy to adhere to agreements is living in delusion. It called upon those who claim to defend holy sites to take concrete actions.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that Yemen is fully prepared to coordinate and cooperate with the Islamic Ummah to confront the danger posed by the Zionist regime and to support the Palestinian cause.

It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released videos and images through his official Instagram account on the previous day, documenting his participation in the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque alongside approximately one hundred thousand Zionists. He appeared at this event under heavy security measures and behind bulletproof glass.

Netanyahu, accompanied by his wife, also visited one of the tunnels excavated beneath the Western Wall, reiterating his baseless claims of sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Concurrent with these actions, social media platforms circulated images of thousands of settlers storming the area of the Western Wall, located west of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to perform Talmudic rituals.

These images sparked widespread anger and condemnation among social media users. Internet users interpreted Netanyahu’s actions in the Western Wall tunnels and his remarks concerning ‘Jerusalem’ as a clear attempt to impose a Zionist narrative on the reality of the city and to translate claims into on-the-ground facts.

Political activists stressed that this issue is not limited to the opening of a tunnel or a fleeting statement. Instead, it signifies an organized project aimed at altering the fundamental identity of the site and imposing conditions favored by the Zionists on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

These individuals asserted that excavations beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque pave the way for distorting realities. They warned that the most dangerous aspect of this trend is receiving implicit support for this project through silence, normalization, and surrender, which places the responsibility for future consequences on those who remain silent.

Bloggers pointed out that Netanyahu’s entry into the tunnels and his descriptions of these areas, coupled with the increasing incursions and Talmudic ceremonies involving tens of thousands around the mosque, confirm that the identity of Jerusalem is under threat.
