Hamas Denies Israeli Claims of Truce Violation, Cites Escalation Motive
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has dismissed Israeli allegations of truce violations by the movement as baseless, suggesting they serve as a pretext for further aggression and continued breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem emphasized that the Zionist regime’s claims regarding the violation of the ceasefire agreement by the movement’s forces are “void and baseless.” He stated that these claims are being put forth to justify the continuous violation of the agreement and to escalate aggressions.
Qassem also pointed to the ongoing aerial and artillery attacks in various parts of the Gaza Strip, reaffirming Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinian martyrs since the commencement of attacks in the region has reached 73,914, with the number of injured standing at 174,952.
