Yemeni Security Forces Foil Saudi Intelligence-Linked Terror Plot in Sanaa

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hazam Al-Assad, a prominent member of the Ansar Allah movement’s political bureau, announced that security forces had foiled a terrorist operation attributed to the Saudi regime. The plot involved explosive-laden motorcycles and suicide operatives targeting several markets and mosques in Sanaa.

Al-Assad further stated that the operation was neutralized without any casualties or damage, and those involved, all reportedly linked to Saudi intelligence services, were arrested.

He recalled that this foiled terrorist operation echoes previous attacks against mosques in Sanaa and Saada during March 2015, carried out by Saudi suicide operatives during Friday prayers. Al-Assad also referenced earlier incidents, including a Saudi intelligence-linked attack on Sanaa’s Al-Tahrir Square in 2014 and the 2013 assault on Al-Ardi Hospital in Sanaa by 12 Saudi suicide operatives.

Al-Assad asserted that the Saudi regime’s repeated use of such terrorist tactics demonstrates its ISIS-like and Takfiri nature, and signifies its failure against the will of the Yemeni people.
