According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Finland and Sweden have jointly deployed their fighter jets for the first time to identify Russian military aircraft in international airspace over the Persian Gulf. This development, reported by Mehr News Agency citing Bloomberg, underscores the intensifying defense collaboration between the two NATO member nations.
Finnish F/A-18 Hornet and Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighter jets intercepted Russian transport and fighter aircraft as part of their enhanced defense partnership. The joint operation highlights a coordinated approach to monitoring military activity in the region.
As of now, Moscow has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
