UN Criticizes Netanyahu’s Remarks at General Assembly

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in response to a question regarding Benjamin Netanyahu’s use of a pager to reference alleged Israeli operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon during his speech at the UN General Assembly, UN Secretary-General Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated on Thursday: “We cannot limit the freedom of expression of leaders, but we hope that all those who speak at the United Nations will respect the seriousness and sanctity of this place.”

Netanyahu displayed a pager during his address on Thursday, claiming that Israel used these devices to assassinate or injure hundreds of Hezbollah forces and Lebanese citizens. He spoke with pride about these alleged operations against the Lebanese people.
