Iran Warns US of Retaliation for Strait of Hormuz Interference

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shakerchi, the spokesperson for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a global power, will never permit the United States to revert to its former position in the new world order. He asserted that Americans have no path to salvation other than withdrawing from the West Asia region, and the sooner they depart, the lesser their losses will be.

General Shakerchi further warned against any American attempts to interfere in the Strait of Hormuz, stating, “Let the Americans dream of interfering in the Strait of Hormuz, and if they interfere in the Strait of Hormuz, they will be slapped.” The statement underscores Iran’s firm stance on protecting its strategic waterways and its readiness to counter perceived threats from the U.S. presence in the region.
