Lebanese Ambassador Expresses Condolences to Israeli Counterpart Amid West Bank Incident

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese Ambassador to the United States, Nabila Hamad Moawad, contacted Israeli Ambassador to Washington Yael Litter. This contact followed the injury of the Israeli ambassador’s son in a ramming attack in the West Bank in recent days.

During the phone call, the Lebanese ambassador condemned the operation and expressed her condolences to the Israeli ambassador. The Israeli Embassy in the United States did not deny the report, stating only that it had no comment.

Yesterday, Sayyed Ibrahim Al-Mousawi, a Member of Parliament in Lebanon affiliated with the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, criticized the Lebanese Prime Minister’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly. He described the speech as an omission of the Israeli regime’s occupation and aggressions against Lebanon, as well as the resulting casualties and destruction.

Al-Mousawi stated, “What a bad speech the Prime Minister delivered at the United Nations. In this speech, not a single word was mentioned about the Israeli regime’s aggression and its occupation of Lebanese territories. There was no mention of crimes against civilians, especially children, and the genocide of families completely wiped out. Furthermore, there was no reference to the destruction of roads and lands, the leveling of villages, the bombing of hospitals, schools, and technical centers, nor the destruction of olive trees.”
