Netherlands Inspects Israeli El Al Flight for Settlements Products

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Channel 12 television reported that Dutch officials conducted an extraordinary inspection of passengers on an Israeli El Al company aircraft. The inspection aimed to ensure that no products originating from Israeli settlements were present on the flight.

The report indicated that Dutch authorities required passengers on the Israeli plane to undergo inspection to ascertain whether they were carrying goods manufactured in Israeli settlements. This action is in line with a recently passed Dutch law that stipulates a potential six-year prison term for carrying any products from Israeli settlements.

Previously, twelve Western countries had announced their intentions to boycott trade with Israeli settlements.
