Iraqi Leaders Discuss Regional Developments and National Sovereignty

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Seyed Ammar Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq, and Hadi Al-Amiri, head of the Badr Organization, met to discuss recent regional developments. The meeting, held in observance of National Sovereignty Day, marked the conclusion of the international coalition’s mission to combat ISIS. Both leaders exchanged congratulations on this significant occasion.

Hakim reiterated that this day signifies an improved situation for Iraq and serves as an international testament to the nation’s capacity to manage its security affairs independently, without reliance on external forces. He emphasized that it marks the commencement of a broader effort to resolve the issue of weapons operating outside governmental control.

The Iraqi statesman underscored the critical importance of confronting ongoing challenges with increased internal cohesion, particularly addressing economic hurdles. Both Hakim and Al-Amiri jointly stressed the necessity of establishing stability within the region and bringing an end to conflict and tension.
