Flydubai Flight Diverted, Another Faces Emergency Landing Amid Pilot Altercation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Flydubai flight FZ1081, traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, made a mid-air diversion and returned to its point of origin. Israeli media reported that the cause of this incident remains unclear and there is no indication it is connected to another Flydubai flight incident.

Previously, Flydubai flight FZ1073, also from Dubai to Tel Aviv, transmitted an emergency message and made an emergency landing at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Airport officials stated that the pilot and co-pilot of this flight sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Flydubai issued a statement confirming that flight 1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv experienced a technical issue during its journey but landed safely at the airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

It has also been reported that one pilot allegedly attacked another with a knife, leading to a physical altercation. The pilot who initiated the attack reportedly intended to hijack the aircraft or crash it. A struggle ensued inside the cabin, resulting in a 4,000-meter drop in altitude.
