Saudi Mercenaries Retreat from Al-Turbah in Yemen’s Taiz

Scores of Saudi-backed mercenary vehicles and weapons carriers have retreated from the city of Al-Turbah in Yemen’s Taiz province, with Ansarallah forces reportedly advancing into the area.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Mehr News Agency reported that a military source informed Al-Masirah TV that over 20 military vehicles and 5 trucks carrying weapons and ammunition belonging to Saudi mercenaries withdrew from the city of Al-Turbah in Taiz province towards the Al-Sharjab and Jabal Al-Baha lines. The source added that the Saudi mercenaries fled Al-Turbah towards the Al-Sahi, Hazzaz, and Zariqah roads in Yemen, following an unprecedented collapse in their ranks. News sources announced that Yemeni Ansarallah forces have entered the central market and are advancing towards Al-Turbah. Concurrently, Yemeni sources reported that Yemeni armed forces took control of the residence of Sultan Al-Barakani in southern Taiz after clashes with Saudi mercenaries.
