Poll Shows Majority of Americans Blame Trump Administration for Rising Prices

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll indicates that 78 percent of Americans hold the Donald Trump administration accountable for the current rate of price hikes, which are escalating faster than household income. The survey data, published by Mehr News Agency, citing TASS, reveals widespread concern over inflation.
Support for this view crosses party lines, with 95 percent of Democrats, 76 percent of independent voters, and even 64 percent of Republicans attributing the rise in prices to the White House. Furthermore, approximately two-thirds of respondents, totaling 68 percent, expressed dissatisfaction with the state of inflation in the United States.
In response to the poll’s findings, the White House asserted that President Trump has effectively combatted the inflationary crisis of the previous period through tax reductions and efforts to lower prescription drug costs.
The poll was conducted online over a six-day period, concluding on October 5.
