Trump Predicts Swift End to Iran Conflict, Claims Oil Flow Record

U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his assertion that any conflict with Iran would conclude swiftly, while also claiming a record volume of oil transited the Strait of Hormuz. These statements come amidst mounting domestic and international pressure regarding the repercussions of potential military action and energy market volatility.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has once again asserted that a war with Iran will end very quickly by any means necessary, stating the United States possesses the capability to bring it to a conclusion under any circumstances. Trump’s claims were reported by Al Jazeera, referencing data published by the Mehr News Agency.

Furthermore, the U.S. President, in an apparent effort to influence the energy market, alleged that the highest volume of oil since the beginning of the war had passed through the Strait of Hormuz the previous day. He elaborated on this claim by stating that 28 million barrels of oil transited the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, more than at any other time.

Trump also contended that the United States has prevented Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, adding, “We will finish this work soon, by any means necessary.”

In other statements, the U.S. President asserted that Iran no longer possesses an army, navy, air force, or air defense systems.

These remarks from the U.S. President emerge as he faces increasing domestic and international criticism, caught in a war quagmire on the eve of U.S. midterm elections. The criticisms stem from the consequences of war and the instability of the energy market, with his rhetoric appearing to be an attempt to mitigate his critical situation.
