Yemeni Army Attack Disrupts Flights at Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd Airport

Flights at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, experienced significant disruption following an attack attributed to the Yemeni army, leading to numerous cancellations and diversions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, media sources have reported a new attack on King Fahd International Airport in the Saudi Arabian city of Dammam, causing disruptions to air traffic at the facility.

Data from Flightradar24 indicates that flight operations at King Fahd Airport have once again faced halts and irregularities. Since early Sunday morning, 53 flights have been canceled, and some flights that were circling or delayed in the airport’s airspace have been rerouted to Al-Qassim Airport.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was targeted. The authority stated that an assessment of damages and a review of the airport’s facility safety are currently underway in coordination with relevant bodies.
