Haqqani in Abu Dhabi with Bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, met.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Taliban government announced in November of last year that “Badruddin Haqqani” was appointed as Afghanistan’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
Taliban Foreign Ministry had issued a statement emphasizing that the new Afghan ambassador to the UAE has made important progress in bilateral relations.
In this statement, it was stated that introducing Haqqani as an ambassador will expand economic and political relations between the Taliban and Abu Dhabi.
