He pointed to the past meetings in Doha and stated: Considering the past two meetings in which the Islamic Emirate was absent, the United Nations recognized that Afghanistan’s participation is very important.
The head of the Third Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government emphasized that without the presence of the Afghan delegation, such meetings would not be effective, so the United Nations made realistic efforts to ensure Kabul’s participation in this meeting.The goal of the Doha meeting is the complete integration of the Taliban into the international community
Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalifi, the deputy foreign minister of Qatar, met with “Abdul Ghani Baradar”, the economic deputy of the Taliban prime minister. He said that without the presence of the representative of Afghanistan, the meetings will be fruitless.
Earlier, “Abdul Qahar Balkhi”, the spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, talked about Kabul’s decision to attend the third meeting in Doha. He had clarified: If there is a change in the composition and agenda of the meeting, it will certainly affect our decision-making and then it will be discussed with all parties.
