Biden says he will fight “harder” after the debate

While admitting his weakness in the debate with Trump, the American president promised to fight harder.

U.S. President Joe Biden has claimed he will fight “harder” after his poor performance in a debate with former President and Republican challenger Donald Trump in the upcoming election, causing deep concern among Democrats.

Speaking at a fundraiser in New Jersey, Biden said he knew it wasn’t his best debate yet and vowed to “fight harder.”

The American president also said that he has many plans for the next four years.

Earlier, the editorial board of the New York Times asked Biden to withdraw from the presidential race “to serve his country”.

After incumbent President Joe Biden fell short of Democrats’ expectations in Thursday’s election debate, raising concerns about his mental state, a number of Democrats have floated proposals to potentially replace the president.
