Asaib Ahl al-Haq’s determination to continue attacks on American bases
The Secretary General of Iraq's Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, in response to the mediation efforts to stop the attacks on American bases, said that he rejects talking about this issue. |
According to the report of the international group of Fars News Agency, “Abola Al-Walai”, the secretary general of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Iraq, wrote last night (Friday) on his personal page on the X social network (former Twitter) that the mediation of the Iraqi parties to stop It does not accept operations against American positions.
He wrote: “We respect all Iraqi mediators and talk about stopping operations or reducing them as long as the Zionist crimes in Gaza continue and the American occupation in Iraq. We consider persistence to be rejected.
Alolai added: “We are aware of the motivations and we understand the variety of roles and the multiplicity of motivations, but by trusting in divine help, the occupation will be eliminated, but the resistance will be partial.” It is from the culture of the people and the people don’t die”.
This tweet by Secretary General Asaib Ahlul Haq comes after the US Embassy in Baghdad announced yesterday morning that two rockets were targeted. In the statement of the official spokesperson of the American Embassy, it was stated that at around 4:15 on Friday morning, the American Embassy was attacked with two rockets. This attack did not result in casualties.
Late last night, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani held a meeting with the presence of commanders and security and military agencies and called the attack on the American embassy “terrorist.” He read and ordered that the perpetrators of the attack be identified and handed over to the judicial authorities.
“Lloyd Austin”, the US Defense Minister, during a phone call with Al-Sudani last night, welcomed the Iraqi Prime Minister’s statement. He attributed the attacks to Iraq’s Hezbollah and the Najaba movement and claimed that America has the right to respond to these attacks. Headquarters and bases where American soldiers are present in Syria and Iraq have been targeted, and according to the US, 66 soldiers have been injured so far.
