Jordan: Israel has goals beyond Gaza

The Jordanian foreign minister said that Israel is trying to evict the people of Gaza from this region and has goals beyond Gaza.

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi said today (December 19) in a meeting in Doha, the capital of Qatar, that Israel’s goals are not limited to Gaza.

The Jordanian foreign minister added: The world stands up and violates international law and commits war crimes in Gaza”

He then asked the US to put more pressure on Israel. Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Washington vetoed the resolution of the Security Council on the need to stop the war in Gaza, causing a sharp reaction from many countries. A veto that was accompanied by Netanyahu’s gratitude.

Iman al-Safadi also said that as long as Israel continues the occupation, it will not have security and peace will not end except with the end of the occupation.

He emphasized: “Israel has created a wave of hatred that will be transmitted to future generations in the region”.

65 days of war in Gaza is passing and so far more than 17 thousand people have been martyred and tens of thousands of others have been injured and thousands of people are still under the rubble. The ceaseless bombing and Israel’s insistence on continuing the war is in a situation where 2.3 million residents of this strip are living in the worst possible conditions without enough water, food and medicine.
