Russia: US Must Consider Battlefield Realities for Ukraine Peace

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Ryabkov, stated that the United States must take into account the realities on the battlefield, which Moscow claims are shifting unfavorably for Kyiv, in any agreement to end the conflict with Ukraine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has indicated that the United States government should consider the prevailing realities on the battlefield when engaging in any potential agreement to conclude the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Moscow asserts that current conditions on the ground are increasingly disadvantageous for Kyiv.

Ryabkov’s remarks came in response to inquiries regarding a potential visit by US Special Envoy Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald Trump, to Moscow. He posed a significant question about the extent of the US administration’s commitment to investing in a genuine solution for the current crisis, emphasizing the necessity of acknowledging battlefield realities.

Earlier on Friday, the President of the United States had announced that Witcoff and Kushner would undertake an international trip with the objective of pursuing a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
