Pentagon: The US aircraft carrier is on its way to the Mediterranean
The US Ministry of Defense announced the dispatch of an aircraft carrier along with a task force ship to the Mediterranean Sea.
report Mehr News Agency, citing Reuters, the US Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of its aircraft carrier in the eastern Mediterranean Sea next week.
The US Navy announced on Friday that the USS Harry Truman and its task force carrier are scheduled to deploy to Naval Station Norfolk next week. They leave in the Mediterranean.
According to the Pentagon, more than 6,500 sailors are present on the task force ship.
USS Harry S. Truman was launched in 1998 and its home base is in Norfork, Virginia.
