According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Said Bin Mubarak Al-Khyareen, Qatar’s ambassador in Kabul, met with Khalilur Rehman Haqqani, the Minister of Refugees of the Taliban government, and discussed his country’s assistance to Afghan refugees deported from Pakistan.
In this meeting, he said that Qatar has provided 60 tons of food and non-food items to the Herat earthquake victims and will not hesitate to continue this assistance to the refugees returning to Afghanistan.
Minister of Migration In this meeting, the Taliban government also explained the needs of Afghanistan and stated that the problems of refugees expelled from Pakistan are increasing every day.
Haqqani said that the Ministry of Migration is trying to deal with the problems of refugees deported from Pakistan based on the plans made and needs the help and cooperation of humanitarian countries in this field.
The ambassador of Qatar also noted that in the recent meeting of Islamic countries in Doha, support for Afghanistan was emphasized and humanitarian aid was also exchanged.
