Human Rights Center Warns of U.S. Non-compliance with International Law
The European-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has warned that the United States is acting as a force above the law in yemen, disregarding international accountability standards. according to a report by the English section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Yemen’s Al-Masirah Network,the rights group emphasized that instead of addressing the root causes of regional crises,Washington continues to pursue destabilizing policies.
The monitor urged international bodies to form an independent fact-finding committee to investigate recent attacks on civilian areas. It also called on the U.S. to fully adhere to international law and end its complicity with the Zionist regime in committing genocide against Gaza’s population.
Notably, as March 15, 2024 (25 Esfand 1403), the U.S. has conducted airstrikes on Yemen in support of Israel,targeting residential areas and non-military sites.
