Local Source Reports Armed Groups Mobilizing to attack Jaramana Near Damascus
A local source in the suburbs of Damascus reported movements by armed groups preparing to attack the city of Jaramana.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, a Syrian local source in Jaramana told Al-mayadeen: ”Uyghur ‘Turkistan’ armed groups have set up camps in the farms of Al-Maliha town and are ready to storm this city.”
The source stated that residents of Jaramana, located in Damascus’ countryside, repelled an attack on the southern outskirts of Damascus earlier today.
The same source reported that seven attackers were killed during the clashes, including four members of foreign Asian and Uzbek armed groups.
It is indeed worth noting that intense clashes have occurred in Jaramana over recent hours.
