An earthquake measuring 4.4 magnitude strikes southern Turkey
Turkey’s AFAD Reports 4.4 Magnitude Earthquake in Muğla
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency“, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Wednesday a relatively strong earthquake in the southern region of the country.
AFAD reported that the quake occurred at 08:36 local time in Muğla at a depth of 14.57 kilometers. The earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale.
This follows last week’s tremor in Istanbul, which caused panic among residents of Turkey’s largest metropolis.
