UNRWA: Gaza humanitarian catastrophe is beyond imagination
According to teh english section of the webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, UNRWA stated on platform X that as the complete siege of Gaza enters its ninth week, there is no alternative but international efforts to address this unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
Food organizations operating in the Gaza Strip also reported yesterday that due to the Zionist blockade and their prevention of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, no tents, food, or fuel remain for displaced persons.
UNRWA had previously announced: 3,000 aid trucks are awaiting the opening of crossings to enter Gaza.
On April 27,Adnan Abu Hasna,UNRWA’s spokesperson, stated that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, with residents facing unprecedented crises in food, water, and medicine.
Most Gazans now eat only one meal a day, and food rations are rapidly depleting.
It should be noted that the Zionist regime has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for two months.
Earlier, Hamas’ Islamic Resistance Movement declared that due to Israel’s two-month obstruction of aid deliveries into Gaza, the region has effectively entered a state of full-scale famine.
